Child Protection Policy
Worcester TheatreMakers take the protection of children in our care very seriously. We consider the welfare of your child/children paramount.
All children in our groups have the right to protection from abuse regardless of gender, ethnicity, disability, sexuality or beliefs...
We have a commitment to safe recruitment, selection and vetting. NB - All associates have Full Enhanced Disclosure to be working with children.
Worcester TheatreMakers hold Public liability insurance. Copies of our policy documents are available to view. All concerns and allegations of abuse will be taken seriously by Worcester TheatreMakers. These may even be considered for referral to children’s services, and in emergencies, the Police. This policy applies to all Worcester TheatreMakers staff, associates, and volunteers. All children and parents will be informed of our Child Protection Policy.
All of Worcester TheatreMakers staff, associates, and volunteers are made aware of our Child Protection Policy.
Worcester TheatreMakers consistently review policy, procedures, and the spaces we work in for the Health and Safety of your children.
Our starting point of the formation of all groups is to establish an atmosphere of kindness, understanding, equality and fun.
Our anti-bullying policy is very simple. We address within classes at all levels any ‘behaviours’ damaging to other children’s physical safety and esteem. All incidents of bullying will be investigated, and acted upon where proven.
We identify good theatre with a strong team. All children are encouraged to be supportive of every other group member in order to create an effective team.
Permission is sought by all parents for Worcester TheatreMakers to take photographs for publicity purposes and for Press to take photos as part of reviewing our shows.
